Finish Options (Made to Order)

Natural Lacquer Finish

The dresser is professionally stripped to remove the original finish, revealing the natural beauty and character of the wood before being sealed in multiple coats of premium clear lacquer.

This finish highlights the richness of the burl walnut veneer, natural grain movement, and warm wood tones while creating a timeless, organic aesthetic that allows the craftsmanship of the furniture to take center stage.

Custom Stained Finish

The dresser is professionally stripped before being stained in your choice of a light, medium, or dark one-color stain and sealed with multiple coats of premium clear lacquer.

This finish enhances the depth and richness of the wood while creating a more uniform overall appearance.

Additional custom toning, glazing, antiquing, cerusing, or other specialty finishing techniques are available for an additional cost and can be discussed prior to beginning your project.

Our Restoration Process Includes

• Repairing missing or damaged veneer as needed.

• Repairing missing trim and molding when necessary.

• Thoroughly cleaning, restoring, and resealing all drawer interiors to create a refreshed, finished appearance while preserving the character of the original furniture.

• Adjusting drawer operation as needed throughout the restoration process.

Every restoration is completed by hand with the goal of preserving the integrity and craftsmanship of the original furniture while creating a timeless heirloom-quality finish.

Please Note

As with all antique furniture, natural wood tone, burl figure, and grain variation should be expected.

While we carefully tone and blend each piece throughout the refinishing process to create a cohesive overall appearance, slight variation in undertones, burl figure, and grain pattern may remain after stripping and refinishing. Darker stain selections will generally create the most uniform final appearance.

These natural variations are part of the beauty and authenticity of antique furniture and are not considered defects.
