A striking pair of antique mahogany oversized bedside chests, professionally refinished to highlight the dramatic movement and depth of the wood while preserving the character and elegance that make antique furniture so timeless.
Each piece was completely stripped and sanded in our studio before being refinished in a rich custom medium brown stain and sealed in a matte lacquer finish for a soft, refined sheen. The finish enhances the warmth and figure of the mahogany while giving the pair a clean, elevated presence that blends beautifully into both traditional and collected modern interiors.
The original antique brass hardware has been professionally polished, adding warmth and contrast against the deep brown finish. While the two pieces are not perfectly identical, the subtle variation between them creates the kind of curated, authentic appeal that makes antique furnishings feel layered and collected rather than factory matched.
