Antique Navy Blue Tall Dresser | Vintage Chest of Drawers

This beautifully refinished vintage tall dresser combines timeless craftsmanship with a sophisticated navy blue finish. Featuring elegant carved detailing, decorative drawer fronts, original brass hardware, and graceful legs with new brass casters, this distinctive piece brings character and refined elegance to any bedroom.

Professionally refinished in Old Navy by Benjamin Moore, this dresser features a rich, true navy blue color in premium furniture-grade matte lacquer. The deep blue finish beautifully highlights the original architectural details while offering a timeless alternative to traditional black or natural wood furniture.

The original hardware has been preserved, providing a warm metallic contrast against the navy lacquer. New brass casters complement the original hardware while maintaining the dresser’s classic vintage character.

Beyond its beautiful exterior, this dresser offers generous storage with oak drawer interiors and a particularly special feature: a cedar-lined bottom drawer with a protective lid, ideal for storing sweaters, seasonal clothing, delicate textiles, and other treasured belongings.

Its tall, space-efficient silhouette provides substantial storage without requiring the floor space of a traditional long dresser, making it an exceptional addition to a primary bedroom, guest room, or thoughtfully designed interior.

Professional Finish

This beautiful dresser has undergone a professional refinishing process in our studio using premium furniture-grade tinted lacquer in Old Navy by Benjamin Moore.

Unlike traditional household paint, our professionally sprayed lacquer creates a smooth, durable, furniture-quality finish with a sophisticated matte sheen.

The deep navy blue color beautifully enhances the dresser’s original carved details and architectural elements, creating a striking balance between vintage craftsmanship and modern design.

The original hardware has been preserved, and new brass casters have been added to complement the piece’s timeless styling.

The oak drawer interiors have been professionally cleaned and refreshed as part of our restoration process.

The bottom drawer retains its distinctive cedar-lined interior and protective lid, providing a beautiful and practical storage space for sweaters, seasonal clothing, and delicate textiles.
